For Her: The Shabby Chic

Feminine and romantic, this vintagey design was especially made for the sweet & adorable Putri Rex (check out her blog) as her birthday gift. Happy Belated Birthday Putri!

Dessert Table: Burlesque Bachelorette

This was our first attempt at dessert table styling and definitely a fun one. All the more so since it was for a bachelorette party of a dear friend, Liyana Ghaus, who is also owner and designer of the fab boutique Nana G. Themed "Nana's Burlesque Bachelorette", we tried to create a contemporary dessert table that was both sexy and sassy, something that would mirror Nana's beautiful personality.
We also teamed up with Whisk KL (who provided us with delicious macarons and marble cake), Emma K. (who custom designed mineral water bottles that were given during the girls' poll dancing class prior to dinner, as well as chocolate bars that were given out as favors) and Miss Tasha who made the delectable strawberry tarts.

For Her: The Classic Chanel Flap

"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous" ~ Coco Chanel

All girls aspire to have at least one Chanel in their lifetime. But if you can't get your hands on the real thang, don't get a fake... Get a cake!

Wedding Cake: The Frozen Gems

Precious gems for a precious lady. This was made especially for the beautiful Masrenny as a hantaran during her solemnization ceremony. A contemporary design that exudes exquisite femininity.

Mini Cakes: Before & After

A quick before and after on mini cakes' how to's...

First you need a cake! LOL. Here we used a 10" marble cake baked for us by Whisk KL. Look how pretty the swirly patterns are :)

Use a round cutter to cut the cake to small round pieces. You could choose to work with these or...

...You could stack them up a layer to create tall minicakes...
Coat them with buttercream icing or ganache before covering them with fondant...

And tadaa...!

Oops, maybe not much of a "how to", but we forgot to take pics throughout the actual process. Ok, maybe next time ;)

For Her: The Urban Chick

Inspired by a Jordi Labanda's illustration, we had a go at hand painted cake art. A cake dedicated to every city girl who oozes confidence, versatility and a whole lotta spunk! Xoxo

Boys Birthday Cake: The Ferrari Cap

Another cap cake, this time ordered by fashion designer Nurita Harith for her beloved Mr Faiz, a hardcore Ferrari fan.

Wedding Cake: The Dot Dot Dot

Here's a cake inspired by Martha Stewarts' M&Ms Wedding Cake. Effortless yet really unique, perfect for those who are simple and fun at heart :)

Baby Shower Cake: Buttons & The Pregnant Lady

Here's an adorable idea for baby showers. We teamed up with Whisk KL who provided the yummy red velvet cakes + cupcakes to come up with a cutesy theme : vintage buttons & a pregnant lady combo. Of course we had to have baby things (ie. baby booties, bottles, ball) as cupcake toppers to fulfill the baby shower quota!
